Our Story

Nestled in a breathtaking location overlooking Ohiwa Harbour and White Island, our property is a harmonious blend of nature and tradition. Spanning 2 hectares, we are proud to be surrounded by native New Zealand bush, featuring majestic Tawa, Manuka, Rimu trees, and Nikau palms that grace our stream. This stunning backdrop enhances our land's beauty and creates an ideal environment for our organic farming practices.

At the heart of our operation is the cultivation of olive trees, which thrive in our fertile soils and temperate climate. We grow a variety of olives, carefully nurtured to ensure the highest quality fruit. Our commitment to organic farming means that we avoid synthetic pesticides and fertilizers, allowing the natural ecosystem to flourish around our olives. The result is a rich, flavorful fruit that is hand-harvested at the peak of ripeness.

We take pride in producing extra virgin olive oil that reflects the unique terroir of our region. Our olives are cold-pressed shortly after harvest, preserving their natural flavors and health benefits. The result is a premium olive oil, characterized by its robust taste and vibrant aroma, perfect for drizzling over fresh salads, dipping with artisan bread, or enhancing a variety of culinary creations.

In addition to our olive oil production, we also embrace the art of curing olives authentically. Our traditional method involves long-period curing the olives to develop their full flavors.

As part of our commitment to sustainable living, we also preserve figs, allowing us to savor their sweetness throughout the year. Using Gregoli recipes, we create fig preserves that capture the essence of our heritage orchard, providing a delicious complement to cheeses, charcuterie, and baked goods.

Our farm is a testament to the beauty of simplicity and the importance of sustainable practices. By integrating organic olive farming, traditional curing methods, and fig preservation, we celebrate the rich agricultural heritage of New Zealand while honoring the natural landscape that surrounds us. Join us in experiencing the fruits of our labor, where every bottle of olive oil and jar of preserves reflects the passion we pour into our craft and the beauty of our environment.
